Welcome to Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Cincinnati! Our chapter, Alpha Tau, is a motivated group of like-minded women with an unbreakable bond. We are committed to providing an unwavering sisterhood that will nurture our sisters throughout their college experience and all of the years to follow. Our sisterhood forms lifelong opportunities of social, intellectual, and moral growth as each member meets the higher and broader demands of mature life.

Alpha Tau Thetas are passionate about pursuing the highest excellence in scholarship, philanthropy, and extra-curricular activities. Our members donate countless hours, while having a blast, in support of our philanthropies CASA and ProKids at our annual all-male beauty pageant, Mr. University, and our Valentine’s Day rose sale. Our Geek Week is full of great events that help to promote our dedication to scholarship while getting to bond and learn together. The enthusiasm that we have for leadership and involvement is core to our college experiences. You will always see Theta’s on campus representing many varying student groups. Thetas are also passionate about travelling overseas to expand on their time in college. Whether it’s teaching engineering to students in China, assisting displaced women in Thailand, building stoves in Guatemala, or exploring Rome together, we are motivated to make an impact.

Thetas can always find time to have fun together even with their busy schedules. We love being at sporting events cheering on the Bearcats, going to group fitness classes, dancing and having a great time at formals, or simply spending a relaxing evening at the Theta house watching movies and catching up. Our sisterhood is truly special and encompasses every aspect of our time here in college. I am incredibly proud to be the Chief Executive Officer of our amazing Alpha Tau chapter. I could not imagine representing a more inspiring group of women. This past year we were fortunate enough to connect with past Alpha Tau’s from all over the country during our centennial celebration. We had women fly in and share what it what like for them to be an Alpha Tau decades ago. Join us in seeing all that we are able to accomplish in our second century at the University of Cincinnati.

Theta Love and All of Mine,

Amy Johnson
